Configure report profiles setup

The Report Profiles Setup page lets you configure report profile settings, including number series for automatic profile and version numbering and default rounding methods for calculations.

To configure report profiles, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Report Data Designer Setup, and then choose the related link.
    The Report Data Designer Setup page opens.

  2. Configure the number series fields:

    Profile ID No. SeriesSelect the number series used for automatic profile ID assignments. When creating new profiles, the system uses this series to generate unique identifiers (e.g., PROF-000001).
    Profile Version No. SeriesSelect the number series used for automatic version numbering. When creating new profile versions, the system uses this series to generate version identifiers (e.g., PROF-VER-000001).

  3. In the Default Rounding Method field, select the rounding method to apply by default to all profile calculations. The available options are:

    • Nearest: Rounds to the nearest value.
    • Up: Always rounds up.
    • Down: Always rounds down.

Individual profile rules can override the default rounding method. If left blank, no default rounding is applied.

  1. Select OK to save the setup.

If no number series are configured, the system displays an error when you attempt to create a new profile. Ensure both number series are properly configured before creating profiles.
