Set up graphical scheduler view

Graphical scheduler views define how the scheduler loads and displays operations, including grouping, date window logic, formatting, and indicators.

To set up graphical scheduler View, follow these steps.

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Graphical Scheduler View List, and then choose the related link.
    The Graphical Scheduler View List page opens.
  2. Create a new view or copy an existing view.
    This creates the base configuration.
  3. Enter the required information in the following fields.

    FieldDescription
    CodeSpecifies the unique code for this view configuration.
    DescriptionSpecifies a description for this view configuration.
    View TypeSpecifies the view type that will be used in the graphical scheduler, view by production order and view by work center.
    Default Time Scale LevelSpecifies the default time scale level when opening this view.
    Start Date ModeSpecifies whether the scheduler uses absolute dates or relative date calculations.
    Start DateSpecifies the absolute start date for the view. Only used when the Start Date Mode field value is set to Absolute.
    End DateSpecifies the absolute end date for the view. Only used when the Start Date Mode field value is set to Absolute.
    Start Date FormulaSpecifies the relative date formula used to calculate the start date. Only used when the Start Date Mode field value is set to Relative.
    End Date FormulaSpecifies the relative date formula used to calculate the end date. Only used when the Start Date Mode field value is set to Relative.
    Grid Font SizeSpecifies the font size for grid columns.
    Row HeightSpecifies the default row height in pixels for this view.
    Past Due ColorSpecifies the color for tasks that are late relative to the due date.
    Downtime ColorSpecifies the color used for downtime tasks.
    Draft ShadeSpecifies the level of shade applied for draft records.
    Lock BrightnessSpecifies the level of brightness applied for locked records.
    Include Flexibility IconsSpecifies whether to show flexibility icons in the scheduler.
    Material Shortage IconSpecifies the icon applied when a record has a material shortage.
    Maintenance/Downtime IconSpecifies the icon applied for maintenance or downtime.
    Upstream Link IconSpecifies the icon applied for upstream production order links.
    Downstream Link IconSpecifies the icon applied for downstream production order links.
    Show ProgressSpecifies whether to show a progress bar visualization.
    Show Utilization ColumnSpecifies whether to show the utilization column in work center view.
    Near Capacity Start %Specifies the threshold for “near capacity” utilization.
    Capacity Limit %Specifies the threshold for “overloaded” utilization.
    Overloaded Limit %Specifies the threshold for “severely overloaded” utilization.
    Underutilized ColorSpecifies the background color for underutilized state.
    Nearing Capacity ColorSpecifies the background color for nearing capacity state.
    Overloaded ColorSpecifies the background color for overloaded state.
    Severely Overloaded ColorSpecifies the background color for severely overloaded state.
  4. Close the page.
    The view is saved and can be selected in the scheduler.
