The date propagation log provides a complete history of all date propagation events between linked production orders.
The date propagation log records:
- Propagation events: Records when date and time changes were propagated between orders.
- Success or failure status: Indicates whether the propagation was applied or blocked.
- Order details: Identifies the upstream and downstream orders affected by the propagation.
- Date changes: Displays the original and updated start and finish dates.
- Routing offsets applied: Specifies the offsets used, such as wait time and safety lead time.
- Error tracking: Explains why propagation failed when blocked by locks or other constraints.

You can view/enter the required information in the following fields:
Field Description Entry No. Specifies the unique identifier for the log entry. Propagation DateTime Specifies when the date propagation occurred. Propagation Status Specifies whether the propagation was successful or blocked. Upstream Order No. Specifies the upstream production order number. Upstream Line No. Specifies the upstream production order line number. Old Upstream Finish Date Specifies the original upstream finish date before propagation. New Upstream Finish Date Specifies the new upstream finish date after propagation. Downstream Order No. Specifies the downstream production order number. Downstream Line No. Specifies the downstream production order line number. Old Downstream Start Date Specifies the original downstream start date before propagation. New Downstream Start Date Specifies the new downstream start date after propagation. Wait Time Applied Specifies the wait time routing offset applied for calculation. Safety Lead Time Applied Specifies the safety lead time routing offset applied for calculation. Error Message Specifies any error message if propagation failed. User ID Specifies the user who triggered the propagation. -
