View allocation history

The production order links allocation history provides a complete audit trail of how upstream batch output has been allocated to downstream production order components.

Allocation history

Allocation history tracks:

  • Lot allocations: Identifies which upstream batch lots are assigned to specific downstream components.
  • Posting events: Records when upstream output was posted and allocated.
  • Quantity tracking: Shows the quantity from each lot allocated to each downstream order.
  • User actions: Captures who performed the allocation and the date and time of the action.
  • Reservation creation: Indicates whether inventory reservations were created as part of the allocation.

To view the allocation history, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Production Order Links Allocation History, and then choose the related link.
    The Production Order Links Allocation History page opens.

  2. You can view/enter the required information in the following fields:

    Entry No.Specifies the unique identifier for the allocation event.
    Allocation Date-TimeSpecifies when the allocation occurred.
    Upstream Production Order No.Specifies the upstream production order number.
    Upstream Production Order Line No.Specifies the upstream production order line number.
    Upstream Item No.Specifies the upstream item number.
    Upstream Lot No.Specifies the lot number allocated from upstream.
    Upstream Posted Quantity (Base)Specifies the total posted quantity for the upstream lot.
    Downstream Production Order No.Specifies the downstream production order number.
    Downstream Production Order Line No.Specifies the downstream production order line number.
    Downstream Component Line No.Specifies the downstream component line number.
    Downstream Item No.Specifies the downstream item number.
    Allocated Quantity (Base)Specifies the quantity allocated to the downstream.
    Allocated Ratio %Specifies the allocation ratio percentage.
    Reservation CreatedSpecifies whether a reservation was created.
    Reservation Entry No.Specifies the reservation entry number if a reservation is created.
    Allocated By UserSpecifies the user who performed the allocation.

  3. Use filters to find specific events by upstream lot number, production order number, item number, or date range.
