Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Production Order Linkage extension, you can:

  • Automatically create production order links when running sales order planning, establishing traceability between sales demand and production supply so that changes in sales orders can be tracked through to their associated production orders. For more information, see Manage production order links.

  • Link a single sales order line to multiple production orders, supporting scenarios where demand from one sales line is fulfilled by several production runs, with full visibility of all linked production orders from the sales order line. For more information, see View production order link tree.

  • Create a linked purchase order line directly from a production order component, enabling contract manufacturing workflows where raw materials or sub-assemblies are procured specifically for a production order, with automatic linkage maintained between the purchase and production records.   • View linked purchase order information directly from production order components and linked production order information from purchase order lines, providing end-to-end visibility across the contract manufacturing supply chain. For more information, see View contract demand on purchase orders.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Link to Production Component action has been added to the Purchase Order page.
  • The Production Links FactBox has been added to the Sales Order and Production Order pages.
  • The Contract Demand FactBox has been added to the Purchase Order page.
  • The View Full Chain action has been added to the Purchase Order page.
