Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Pricing Matrix extension,

  • You can define alternate cost codes for items to calculate profit by using the Track Status Profitability checkbox on the Alternate Costs page. To know more, see Manage alternate cost profitability.

  • The system automatically calculates the alternate cost for items based on the selected cost option on the Alternate Cost Calculation page and saves them on the Alternate Cost Worksheet page, ensuring consistency and supporting dynamic pricing strategies.
    You can preview the alternate costs, the existing cost, and the calculated cost, on the Alternate Cost Preview page before applying for the changes.

  • The system calculates the currency exchange rate when generating pricing lines from the pricing matrix and updates the Currency Recalculation Factor field value to reflect the conversion between the base currency and the document currency on the Applied Sales Price and Discount page.

Integrations

The Aptean Pricing Matrix extension has been integrated with the Aptean Inspection Status extension. For more information see, Integrations.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Alternate Cost Calculation page has been added.
  • The Sales Line Alternate Costs action has been added to the Lines FastTab of the Sales Order page.
  • The Alternate Cost Profitability action has been added to the Sales Order page.
  • The Track Status Profitability checkbox has been added to the Alternate Costs page.
