Set up attribute aggregation

Configure how ingredient attributes are aggregated to calculate formulation properties such as nutritional content, allergen information, and regulatory compliance data.

To set up attribute aggregation, follow these steps:

1. Select the Search icon , enter Formulation Attribute Aggregation Setup, and then choose the related link.
   
   The Formulation Attribute Aggregation Setup page opens.
2. On the action bar, select Initialize from Item Attributes to automatically create setup records for existing item attributes.

3. Enter the required information for the following fields:

   Field	Description
   Attribute ID	Select the item attribute that will be aggregated. Select from existing item attributes configured in the system.
   Aggregation Method	Select how attribute values are combined across formulation ingredients. The available options are: Sum, Weighted Average, Maximum, Minimum, Logical OR, and Logical AND.
   Category	Select the category used for reporting and display purposes.
   Default Unit of Measure	Enter the unit of measure for the aggregated result.
   True Value	Enter the value that represents true in calculations for boolean attributes using Logical OR/AND methods.
   Hide Attribute Value	Select the checkbox to hide the raw attribute value and show only the converted result in formulation displays.
   Convert Attribute Value	Select the checkbox to apply unit conversions or calculations to raw attribute values before aggregation.
