To open the formulation search, follow these steps:

  1. Select the Search icon , enter Formulation search, and then choose the related link.
    The Formulation Search page opens.
    The page displays search parameter fields at the top and results area below.
    The formula search provides multiple filter options to narrow your search scope.

  2. On the Filters group, enter the following fields as needed:

    Formulation No. FilterSpecifies a formulation number to limit the search to a single formulation. Select from existing formulations using the lookup.
    Version No. FilterSpecifies a version number to limit the search to a specific formulation version.
    Filter by StatusTurn on this toggle to enable status-based filtering.
    Status FilterSpecifies the formulation status to filter by. Available when Filter by Status toggle is turned on. The available options are: New, Certified, Under Development, Closed.

To configure search criteria, follow this step:

  1. On the Search Criteria group, configure the following options:

    FieldDescription
    Ingredient SearchSpecifies ingredients using item number or item description. Partial description matching is supported. Separate multiple ingredients with commas.
    Ingredient CriteriaSpecifies matching logic. The available options: Include at least one (OR logic), Must include all (AND logic).
    Attribute SearchSpecifies attributes using attribute name from the Formulation Attribute Aggregation Setup page. Partial name matching is supported. Separate multiple attributes with commas.
    Attribute CriteriaSpecifies matching logic. The available options: Include at least one (OR logic), Must include all (AND logic).

Search input examples:

Ingredient search examples:

  • Single ingredient: SUGAR-001
  • Multiple ingredients (OR): SUGAR-001, VANILLA, Citric Acid
  • Multiple ingredients (AND): SUGAR-001, VANILLA with Must include all selected

Attribute search eamples:

  • Single attribute: Protein content
  • Multiple attributes (OR): Protein content, fat content, fiber
  • Multiple attributes (AND): Protein content, calories with Must Include All checbox selected.

To clear search parameters, follow these steps:

  1. Select Clear on the action bar.
  2. The system clears all filters, search criteria, and results.
  3. All search parameters return to their default values.

Search results fields:

The Results section displays the following information:

FieldDescription
Formulation No.Specifies the formulation number. Select to drill down and open the Formulation Card page.
Version No.Specifies the formulation version number. Blank for formulation headers.
DescriptionSpecifies the formulation or version description.
StatusIndicates the current formulation status.
Ingredient Match CountSpecifies how many of the selected ingredients were found in the formulation.
Matches All IngredientsSpecifies whether the formulation contains all specified ingredients (when using AND logic).
Attribute Match CountSpecifies how many of the selected attributes were found in the formulation properties/results.
Matches All AttributesSpecifies whether the formulation has all specified attributes (when using AND logic).

If you don't have permission to view a formulation, the system displays a warning message.
