Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Mobile Registration extension,

  • The system allows warehouse users to scan and over pick an entire license plate during production consumption warehouse picks when over- and under-picking is permitted in the production BOM. For more information, see License plating integration with Production Over Pick.

  • You can configure the Scan Mixed License Plate in Pick toggle on the Mobile Setup page which allows to scan a full license plate that contains multiple lots of the same item during warehouse picking. For more information, see Mobile Setup.

  • You can skip the weight quantity entry step when an item is identified as a catch weight item and the item catch weight setup is set to fixed during picking. For more information, see Item catch weight setup.

  • You can configure the system to automatically start the box auto fill function during picking by selecting the Auto start Box Autofill option on the Mobile Profile Setup page for Pick. When this option is selected, the system automatically initiates the box auto fill function on the Pick page. For more information, see Pickset.

Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Mobile Warehouse Management extension, the OnskipShippingContainer and OnSkipShippingUnit integration events have been added to the MobilePickFDW codeunit. This enhancement allows the system to skip the packaging type confirmation prompt and automatically assign the package type when an SSCC packaging type is available and the Default for SSCC toggle on the item card default packaging setup page is turned on.

The confirmation prompt is skipped only if the Aptean SSCC extension is installed with required configurations.

Integrations

The Aptean Mobile Warehouse Registration extension has been integrated with the Aptean Production Over Pick extension. For more information, see Integration with Aptean Production Over Pick.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

  • The Scan Mixed License Plate in Pick toggle has been added to the License Plating FastTab of the Mobile Setup page.
  • The Auto Start Box Autofill field has been added to the Mobile Profile Setup page. This description is visible only when the Page field is set as PICK.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.

This issue arises when the Scan both Take and Place Bins field value on the Mobile Profile Setup page is set to No and the inventory movement contains multiple lines, causing the lines to appear in a different order compared to inventory movement in Business Central.
332724The system does not consider the selected sorting method when calculating inventory on the Physical Inventory Journal page during count. This issue arises when inventory is calculated using sorting method with the Location & Item or Location & Bin fields.
318897An error occurs on the Mobile Warehouse Receipt page when selecting an item with a variant from the Lines FastTab and using the New License Plate action. This issue arises when the receipt line includes a variant, causing the failure of assigning the new license plate.
337919The system fails to update the description after the initial scan when the Input Qty. to Handle field value on the Mobile Profile Setup page for Pick module is set to No. This issue arises when picking a lot-tracked item with an SSCC, causing the system to prompt you to scan the SSCC again even though it is already populated, and to show an error stating that the bin cannot be found when another SSCC is scanned.
333163The system increases the document No. Series field value on the Calculate Inventory request page each time the Calculate Inventory action is used. This causing an invalid document number error during journal posting.
346611The system displays inconsistent background coloring between the item line and tracking specification sections on the Physical Inventory List report when the Show Item Tracking Numbers toggle is turned on. Additionally, the system fails to update the Qty. (Calculated) field value for non-tracked items.
