Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Labeling extension,

• The new Always Send Empty Fields toggle on the Label Card page ensures that a field caption configured in the label setup lines is still included in the label output, with an empty value, when the related record for that field is not found. Previously, such captions were omitted entirely, which could cause errors in third-party label printing software when an expected caption was missing from the output.

• The OnAfterGetLabelJson integration event has been added to the CreateLabelOutputFileFDW codeunit to allow subscriber extensions to access the exact JSON payload generated during label printing before it is sent to the label printing software, enabling partners and customers to inspect or log the payload without modifying the core extension.

UI/UX changes

The Always Send Empty Fields toggle has been added to the Label Card page.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.

379445	The system fails to print one label for each license plate or lot when executing the Print Label(s) action on a line of an unposted Warehouse Receipt page or Purchase Order page. This issue occurs for both the Report and Label Output File output options.
384616	The system fails to respect the Customer Label Group when printing the Prod. Output label. This issue arises when the Sales Line is not reserved against the Production Order, causing the generic OUTPUT label to print instead of the customer-specific label.
384627	The system fails to include the item quantity on labels printed for SSCC records.
379356	The system fails to display the Print Labels page when printing a label configured with the Output Option field set to Report and the Show Dialog toggle turned on.
