Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean eSignature extension, you can create immutable snapshots of certified:

• Production BOMs that capture complete formulation data including all header information, weight unit configuration, component lines, lot attribute requirements, scrap percentages, co-products, and production BOM comments. The snapshot links to e-signature records containing user ID, date, time, and reason for certification, ensuring FDA-compliant audit trails for regulatory inspections. • Production scenarios that link items to specific certified BOM and routing versions, capturing item number, production BOM number and version, routing number and version, location code, unit of measure, and all configuration settings. • Routings that capture complete process details including all header data, operation lines with times, operation comments, tools, personnel, quality measures, routing comments, and complete details of all referenced work centers and machine centers. • You can filter eSignature snapshots by document type, record ID, record name, date range, user, and status to quickly locate specific snapshot records for compliance tracking and audit purposes. For more information, see Filter eSignature snapshots.

• You can view eSignature snapshots in a hierarchical treeview format that presents data in an organized structure, allowing you to expand and collapse nodes to analyze complex data relationships. For more information, see View snapshots in treeview format.

• You can access eSignature entries directly from the Production BOM page without navigating away from your current work. For more information, see View eSignature entries from production BOM.

• You can access eSignature entries directly from the Routing and Routing Version pages to review certification history and approval workflows. For more information, see View eSignature entries from routing.

• The system has enhanced XML snapshot data to include field ID, field name, table ID, and table name metadata, enabling report data designer to dynamically generate datasets without hardcoding field structures. For more information, see Generate reports from enhanced XML snapshots.

• The Pending Status Change To field, Certified Routing History, and View eSignature Entries actions have been added to the Routing page.
• The Certified Routing History action has been added to the Routing List page.
• The Pending Status Change To field and View eSignature Entries action has been added to the Routing Version page.
• The Pending Status Change To field, Certified Production Scenario History, View eSignature Snapshots, and View eSignature Entries actions have been added to the Item Production Scenarios page.
