Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Dynamic Production extension,

• You can manually substitute active ingredients on production order component lines with different items. The system automatically recalculates required quantities based on the substitute item's standard potency to maintain the target active ingredient amount in the batch.

• The system automatically recalculates required quantities when active ingredients are substituted, using the substitute item's standard potency as the baseline. Dependent components linked to the substituted active ingredient are updated automatically without circular dependencies.

• When active ingredient quantities change due to substitution, dependent components (fillers, solvents) are automatically updated. Fixed ratio relationships maintain specified proportions, while filler components adjust inversely to maintain constant batch totals.

• You can manually change component line quantities for active ingredients, with the system tracking deviations when changes are made. The system marks related filler and dependent ingredient lines as out of spec until you run the recalculation function to update them.

UI/UX changes

The following UI/UX changes have been made in this release.

• The Refresh Active Qty. On Hand action has been added to the Lot No. Information List page.
• The Active Quantity On Hand field has been added to the Lot No. Information List page.
• The Active Lot Potency Attribute field has been added to the Advanced Atrribute Setup page.
