Features

With the features added in this release of the Aptean Catch Weight extension,

• The system displays a recommended action message when posting a sales or warehouse shipment for a catch weight item costed by weight and the available weight quantity is insufficient, indicating that weight corrections must be created and posted using the catch weight correction worksheet. For more information, see Post sales order, Post warehouse shipment lines, Consumption journal lines for catch weight item, Post purchase return order, Production order components line for catch weight item and Transfer order.

• The system introduces the Calc. & Post Inventory Value by Weight (Rem. Qty Zero) report to automatically correct remaining weight differences for catch weight items with zero remaining quantity by calculating and posting the required weight and value adjustments and updating the remaining weight quantity to zero, with support for automated execution through the job queue. • The system supports undoing posted shipments for catch weight items costed by weight by reversing shipped weight quantities, restoring inventory quantities and weight balances, and creating the required correcting ledger and value entries to recalculate expected and actual costs based on the reversed weight. UI/UX changes
