Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Advanced Warehouse Management extension,

  • The FEFO pick management logic has been enhanced to provide consistent automatic reservation handling across production, sales, transfer, and item journal transactions. The system creates reservations using standard tracking specifications, improving inventory accuracy and alignment with standard functionality to ensure compatibility with Business Central, version 28.

  • The item reclassification journal has been enhanced to get bin contents from action get bin content.

  • Enhancements have been made on the Item Reclassification Journal page to support automatic population of license plate numbers using the Get Bin Content action. You can retrieve valid and current license plate numbers directly from the selected bin(s) and item(s), reducing manual data entry and improving data accuracy during item reclassification.

  • In the location setup, the Scan Destination License Plate field can be configured on the Module Validation page for the Ad Hoc Movement module.

    This setup allows users to move quantity from one license plate to another existing license plate that already contains inventory using the scanner. However, if you try tries to move quantity to a new license plate or to an existing empty license plate, the system will display an error during scanning, and the movement will not be allowed.

    With these enhancement, you can retrieve valid and current license plate numbers directly from the selected bin(s) and item(s), reducing manual data entry and improving data accuracy during item reclassification. 

UI/UX changes

The Scan Destination License Plate field has been add to the Module Validation page of the Ad Hoc Movement module.

This field is visible when you execute the Create Default Validations action on the Module Settings page for the Ad Hoc Movement module and the default value is set to Inactive.

Resolved issues

The following issues have been resolved in this release.
