Enhancements/Modifications

With this release of the Aptean Beverage Alcohol Balance extension, Drink-IT Edition:

  • The system automatically creates revaluation value entries when you post an alcohol aging adjustment and the Revalue on Alc. Aging Adj. toggle on the Alcohol Balance Setup page is turned on. The revaluation redistributes the cost of the evaporated quantity proportionally across the remaining open item ledger entries, preserving the total inventory value for the adjusted lot and location.

  • The system no longer shows the update confirmation dialog when closing the Item Tracking Lines page if no quantity or strength values were changed, or if the item does not use variable strength.

UI/UX changes

The Revalue on Alc. Aging Adj. toggle has been added to the Alcohol Balance Setup page.

The following issues have been resolved in this release.

Additionally, the system incorrectly updates the Strength 3 field value when selecting No.
366261The system uses the wrong strength 1 value and fills in an incorrect order line number when adding a second line to the Alcohol Loss Journal page to split losses by reason code on a finished production order with multiple output lines.
373044The system incorrectly shows the order line number for production order lines in the alcohol loss journal when the Post Alc. Loss on Main Item toggle on the Alcohol Balance Setup page is turned on , preventing the posting of losses with multiple reason codes.
373462The system incorrectly recalculates and overwrites strength values on the source document line when the user changes only the quantity in item tracking lines for a variable strength item. Additionally, the update confirmation dialog incorrectly appears for fixed strength items and when no values were changed.
