What’s the purpose of this master file?
It's used in the Purchasing Contract Management functionality.
Where can I find it?
Master files →Purchasing files → Purchasing contracts → Management companies
The settings
- Contract management company code — Enter a code, up to six digits long.
- Description — Enter a brief description.
- Vendor code — If the management company also has a vendor code in your system, this is where you can connect them. Enter or search for the vendor code.
- Description — Enter a brief description.
- Inactive? — For now, leave this field set to
N. Later on, if you need to phase out this record, come back and set this flag toY. The code will no longer be available for assignment, and will not appear in search lists.
